Warranty Policy

GENERAL WARRANTY

We warrant to you that any product purchased from us through our site is of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for all the purposes for which products of that kind are commonly supplied.

This warranty does not apply to any defect in the product arising from fair wear and tear, willful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, if you use the product in a way that we do not recommend, your failure to follow instructions, or any alterations or repair you carry out without our prior written approval.

The following events will void the warranty:

  1. Customer removes/replaces any components.
  2. Damage caused by poor power supply, lightning, or voltage surges.
  3. Burnt parts on hash boards or chips.
  4. Miner/boards/components damage due to water immersion or corrosion due to a wet environment.

 

Geysir Miners does not take any responsibility for or compensate for any loss as a result of downtime caused by delays in transportation and/or damaged/defective items.

The warranty offered is covered by the manufacturers for the products and not Geysir Miners. The warranty is subject to the warranty terms offered by the manufacturer of each product. All claims will need to be dealt directly with the manufacturer and not Geysir Miners.

The customer must return the defective equipment at their own expense after opening a support ticket and troubleshooting with Geysir Miners customer support. Please make sure to send back the miner in its original package to ensure the parcel is secure and to avoid damage in transit. If there is further damage caused during returns, this may not be covered.

The warranty is subject to the warranty terms offered by the manufacturer of each product. The warranty left on the units will be dependent on the release of the unit and batch by the manufacturer.

Geysir Miners will pay for the shipping cost to the customer when shipping a replacement unit within the warranty period. Geysir Miners will not pay for any loss of downtime or delay caused by customs. In cases where the warranty is void or after the warranty period, equipment can be repaired for the cost of parts and labor.

 

WARRANTIES OFFERED BY MANUFACTURER – USED MINERS:

All used miners will be tested in our facility before shipment.

The warranty offered is covered by the manufacturers for the products and not Geysir Miners. The warranty is subject to the warranty terms offered by the manufacturer of each product. The warranty left on the used units will be dependent on the release of the unit and batch by the manufacturer.

The warranty expires in the following cases:

  1. Miner is demolished, privately altered, or components are replaced by customers.
  2. Lightning, voltage surges, or poor quality power supply causing damage.
  3. Circuit boards and components damaged by water, exposed to moisture, or corroded.
  4. The circuit board or the chip is completely burned.
  5. Excessive overclocking in an overheating environment.

 

SUPPLIER WARRANTY:

The Supplier warrants to the Buyer that:

  1. The Products will be of satisfactory quality and fit for any intended uses and will be free from defects or other weaknesses found in the Products.
  2. Upon the initial deployment of the project, the Supplier can schedule engineers to be on-site to provide technical support and installation guidance free of charge.
  3. During the installation/operating period, if there is any question/information needed, the Supplier will follow up to provide timely support or technical response within a 48 working hour time frame.
  4. The Supplier provides a one-year limited warranty period on the complete set of container products it manufactures, starting from the date the products are delivered to the installation site.
  5. The replaced products and/or its parts work in good condition for thirty (30) days from the date of replacement or for the remainder of the original warranty period, whichever is longer.
  6. After the one-year warranty period, if additional parts and/or accessories are required beyond warranty, the Buyer only needs to contact the Supplier to arrange for these items at cost price and actual transportation cost.
  7. The content of extended warranty service is consistent with the one-year warranty service terms. Extended warranty service needs to be arranged separately.

 

OPERATIONAL SAFETY:

Deployment, operation, and maintenance of the Products should adhere to and follow the O&M manuals provided by the Supplier. The Supplier shall not be held responsible for any risks or accidents, including but not limited to personal injury, that may occur during the deployment or operation of the Products.
